Does anyone know if architect Wm. J. Carpenter was associated with this building? Or why it was called the Carpenter Building? Any information about its history would be appreciated. Jack Carpenter, St. Augustine, FL.

Because of the similarity of this building to one in DeLand designed about the same time by my grandfather Wm. J. Carpenter I believe this may have also been his design. I ask again, can anyone tell me anything more about this buildings design or ownership?
More on the DeLand building may be viewed at https://jackncb.wordpress.com/architecture/deland-area/givensheard-block-deland-fl-1926/
Thank you, Jack
