Seminole Heights Research Project on Thursday

Seminole Heights Research Project on Thursday
The OSHNA Preservation Committee is doing research on Thursday, July 26th, at the downtown library. You are invited to join us. No experience required. We will meet at 6:30 pm on the 2nd floor (History and Genealogy) of the John F. Germany Library, 900 N. Ashley Dr.We will continue the City Directory research on Hampton Terrace. The City Directories provide a year- by-year record of who lived at any given address in Tampa. This allows us to construct a chain of occupancy for all the contributing structures in the proposed historic district. You can learn how to do this research by beginning with your own house. We will also be continuing the examination of historic newspapers for stories and information about Seminole Heights. Please email Steve Gluckman if you think you might join us so we have some idea of how many to expect. Pen and paper are all the equipment needed.Email Steve Gluckman
